By Esther Kainebi-Daniel

Big Brother Naija Season 7 ‘Level Up’ housemate, Adekunle Tobilola Olopade (Adekunle) has emerged the first Head of House for the ongoing Season 8, dubbed the Biggieverse or All Stars. He emerged the winner of the HoH game after completing the search box task in 12 seconds.

The 27-year-old digital marketing consultant who considers himself ‘a self-actualised introvert’ during his time in the Level Up edition was the third HoH. As winner, Adekunle is immune from nomination for a week; hence he is assured of his stay in Biggie’s luxurious house for the next one week.

Also, he is entitled to a cozy lounge within the house, which he gets to enjoy with four best friends (BFFs). The selected BFFs include: Cross, Seyi, Frodd and Soma. This did not go down well with Season 5, Pepper Dem winner, who made a case for the feminine gender. “This is not gender balance, at least there should have been one female there,” she said.

Mercy won for herself immunity during the Black Envelope search challenge, which saw Seyi and Frodd almost clashing over who should keep the envelope, which read “Better luck next time”.

Meanwhile, model, entrepreneur and winner of the Season 6, the ‘Lock Down’ edition, Hazel Oyeze Onou popularly known as Whitemoney is leading his fellow housemates in the fan’s favourite ‘All Star Housemates’ online poll.
